In the new revised edition of The Philosophy Of Freedom currently be written on this website, there will be 12 main topic headings in each chapter. Each topic heading is made up of two parts: a topic identifier and a topic title.
For example, 2.7 Polarity Of Consciousness.
The first number (2) indicates Chapter 2 "THE FUNDAMENTAL DRIVE FOR SCIENCE" and the second number (7) is the worldview number #7 which is Psychism. The short topic heading phrase "Polarity Of Consciousness" identifies the topic of the view that follows.
In 1918 Steiner wrote at the time of republishing The Philosophy Of Freedom the following:
As a kind of MOTTO to The Philosophy of Freedom I wrote in the original preface: "Truth alone can give us assurance in developing our individual powers. Whoever is tormented by doubts finds his powers emasculated. In a world that is an enigma to him he can find no goal for his creative energies." "This book does not claim to point the only possible way to truth, it seeks to describe the path taken by one who sets store upon the truth."
Steiner's above MOTTO speaks of individual empowerment, Truth Empowering Creative Action. In this spirit I am revising the topics of the chapters completed so far to indicate empowerment, that by applying this topic you will be empowered in your life. I will add more chapters to this post as I complete the topic revisions.
