I really like the breakdown, it makes so much sense when you put it this way.
Thanks Joshua, nice to hear from you again. I am working on a Prezi presentation for Chapter 3 on thinking now. The other longer chapters will be clear and simple also, though they will be a little more wordy. I will have a draft of chapter 3 up next week.
It's been a journey with a lot of confusion but with time everything Steiner presented in this book keeps unfolding itself in my personal life. Makes me understand even his later work (Education) much better with a lot of aha! moments. In my understanding, his later work is an expansion of the PoF, especially the education portion when you look/apply it as a cognitive science and human development.
The Philosophy Of Freedom is more a philosophy of science where principles are discovered by studying the human mind and action. We can discover the principles in the Philosophy Of Freedom through our own study of the human being, and most if not all of these principles have been discovered by others. This is shown by searching the web. Most importantly, in The Philosophy Of Freedom we learn what "pure thinking" is (chapter 3). Anthroposophy goes further into a spiritual science based on Steiner deepening "pure thinking" into clairvoyance and discovering principles at some higher level. Anthroposophy requires more faith in accepting the principles, but, as you say, they both require applying the principles if anything is to happen.
Thank you for your effort .Easy and brief.
A appreciate your comments Patricia and Hend. I am giving the core principles in these presentations in an easy and brief way so they can be applied to life. The book is a philosophy of life meant to be lived.
A wonderful side by side camparison-thank you for all your hard word on this.
I will be creating comparative study presentations like this using Prezi for all the chapters.
