b. June 11, 1950 Detroit, Michigan. Master mural and lazure painter residing in Hong Kong. Directly out of high school had Vietnam sea action aboard an aircraft carrier USS Midway (US Navy 4 years 1968-1972) followed by a short period as merchant seaman. After a spiritual awakening summer 1973 aboard a ship at sea off the coast of Spain returned to the US spring 1974 and met Steiner's work and anthroposophy through brother Patrick in hometown Detroit. Met Robert Logsdon 1975 taking up strong interest in color and in lazure wall painting. Early studies in anthroposophy and Waldorf Teacher training in Detroit with W. Glas and H. Gebert. Art studies in Jarna, Sweden 1978-79 with Klingborg, Raab, Fuchs and Wilkes in Jarna followed by formative years in lazure and mural painting. Lived in Jarna total 10 years before returning to US for the next 15 years based in Chicago. Studios in the Fine Arts Bldg for 12 years muraling and teaching lazure workshops across the US. 2008 moved to Hong Kong teaching self-development through art mainly in the Early Childhood Teacher Trainings on mainland China. Also major monumental mural commissions in China. Diplomas in Waldorf Ed. and eurythmy (London School of Eurythmy). Very close to the Freedom Philosophy in daily life.
