I think the idea of this comic illustrated version is simply great! Although I have read and understood the original book quite a lot, I realize its comprehension is full of layers and such a clear view in this as brought by a comic book is really something helpful!

No summaries of The Philosophy of Freedom exist that provide a simple yet detailed look at the fundamental philosophy of Steiner and anthroposophy. This has led to a misunderstanding among the public and even anthroposophists as to what anthroposophy really is based on.
As a result, ill intentioned people are attacking Steiner initiatives by defining anthroposophy in a negative way and kooks are attaching their oddball beliefs onto anthroposophy.
The idiots guide is to give a quick but detailed summary so people can know themselves what is the basis of all of Steiner's work. Two chapters were completed recently and are available on this website. It is not available in print and no plans are made to do that because of the cost.
Barack Obama has never read the Philosophy of Freedom as far as I know but was chosen as a comic character because he seems to be the best widely know example of an ethical individualist. He represents a new movement among youth toward the principles found in the book.

Well, just to give an example I didn't get the classification of the 4 driving forces and the 4 motives, and that helped a lot reorganizing my thoughts about it...even if only to question whether the offered classification is really what Steiner meant or not!!
